Human Resources is often responsible for assisting in the management of safety, health, and security risks in the workplace. In this course, students will learn skills necessary to identify and manage these workplace risks. Topics areas covered include: occupational injury and illness prevention andresponse programs (hazard analysis, OSHA compliance, and worker's compensation), policies and procedures to minimize loss and liability (workplace violence, substance abuse, andemergency preparedness), business continuity planning and privacy and data security issues.
