601 111 - Principles of Refrigeration |
The purpose of the course is to assist the student in developing and understanding of the basic refrigeration system. Proper use of tools and test equipment for installation and servicing of domestic and commercial refrigeration systems iscovered in detail. Soldering, Brazing and flaring of coppertube systems is an essential skill developed in this course. The safe handling of refrigerants along with EPA refrigerant handling certification is a priority.
